The Soprapiana vineyard, in Colbertaldo, is located in the heart of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG area, at the foot of the Mass Bianchet hill.
The vineyard was planted in 1978, so the vines, over fourty years old, are in full maturity and produce grapes with a perfect balance, suitable for the production of sparkling wines.
From this vineyard we obtain some of our best bases, with excellent aromatic characteristics and structure.
The vineyard is not very steep, with southern exposure, and rows in an east-west direction.
The soil has good depth, with a clear clayey percentage, which allows excellent water retention and therefore greater resistance to drought, without presenting problems of water stagnation, due to the particularly aerated area. The underlying rocky layer is marl and in particular of the "salìs" type, a particularly friable rock which characterizes the area and which gives a particular tasty and mineral sensation to the bases. The vines are grown 100% in Sylvoz.
